Merry Christmas, everyone!

Sure, I’m a few days late, but things have been busy with my family and some dating on the side lol.

I hope you all had a great time with friends and family during the holidays. Did any of you get lucky under the mistletoe?

Sorry…I CAN’T resist…

BIEBER! Haha, I don’t care how old he is. That damn song is so addicting and so festive. Okay, I can’t stop at that…how about this collaboration with one of my favorite musical groups back in the day…BOYZ II MEN!!!!

Enough about Bieber…so about dating around this time of year. Especially if it’s someone from the internet, it’s kind of hard to make time for dates between all the time you spend with friends and family. This is the perfect time to catch up with people you haven’t seen in months or possibly years, so why would I want to put more priority on someone I haven’t met before or someone I’ve only interacted with online?

While this website is all about meeting people online and finding true love, you need to understand what your priorities really are. Especially if you really fall for someone, dating and love can really take hold of your life. You’ll do things that just don’t seem rational.

So keep this in mind when you really get deep into the online dating scene. As awesome as it is to get out and date and possibly find some real love out there, keep your friends and family close

With holiday parties going on right now, you know a lot of drinking and socializing with come about amongst you and your co-workers. There’s always that co-worker in your life that you might have a big crush on. And who knows? They might feel the same way about you too. So maybe things might heat up during your company’s holiday party…

However, how do you guys and gals feel about following through with a romantic relationship with one of your co-workers? Do you things this is right? Do you believe something longterm could come about this? Or are you afraid of totally ruining the dynamic you happen to have in the workplace?

Things could go really bad if you happen to work closely with this individual in your everyday work. That’s the problem I see with workplace relationships. It’s awesome how you can really spend a lot more time with your boyfriend or girlfriend if you work in the same place, but what if things don’t work out with you guys? It’ll make you two look bad for your company and things could really tank in the workplace. Your peers wouldn’t like it if a botched relationship destroys your company’s or division’s performance.

That’s just my two cents.

On top of that, I don’t think I could deal with being around my boyfriend during the entire stressful work week. Working in different companies gives you something to look forward to at the end of the day, at the end of the week, and during holidays. When I’m working at my office (and not writing on this blog lol), I’m busting my butt off to get my job done and to surpass my company’s expectations. My career means a lot to me, so I’m doing whatever it takes to stand out from the rest and to make sure my projects are going as planned. Especially in this kind of economy, I’m doing a lot to make sure that I’m keeping my job and continuing up the corporate ladder.

When all that work is out of the way, then I can look forward to spending time with my boyfriend.

What do you feel about this?

Now, if I play the devil’s advocate here, let’s take things from another perspective. Many couples tend to have issues of finding time to spend with each other because of responsibilities like work or even grad school. And what if you have kids? There are so many things you have to worry about on your plate, that there doesn’t seem to be time left for the two of you.

If you’re working at the same company, then you can do little things such as eat lunch together every once in a while when you’re not working hard while eating at your desk or eating with other friends at work. Even a short coffee break helps. When you have these small spurts of time together, it relieves the need to spend as much time together outside of work with all the other responsibilities that have to be accounted for. Then it’ll seem like things are fine and nothing is missing between the two of you when it comes to spending time together.

Even if you look at things from that point of view, I’m still an advocate of not dating your co-worker. Since my career matters a lot to me and my future family’s future (haha…), I don’t want to jeopardize something I’ve been working so hard to develop all these years with a relationship.

Boyfriends and girlfriends come and go. You will find something special. However, in this kind of economy, you don’t want to lose your job or ruin your workplace dynamics through a workplace romance or a workplace relationship gone bad.

Just my 2 cents

So how did you all do? Was the challenge as hard as you thought it was?

Trust me. This is the first step in finding success with online dating. You just need to be willing to put yourself out there. Yes, it may seem scary at first, but what you need to do is let go of your fears. Who cares about rejection?

For those of you who actually did the challenge, how did things go for you? What were your responses like? Did any of you actually go on dates?

If so, that’s fantastic! I’m really looking forward to what all of you have to say.

Tomorrow, I’ll make a post about the next eHarmony Login challenge. It’ll be a step up from the first one, and it’s best if you completed the first one. Even if you haven’t, you can still catch up as Challenge 2 will involve a lot of the ideas from the first challenge.

Don’t forget to post some of your results!

Check out this video I found on YouTube the other day:

The video’s host goes around asking people who their ideal date is, along with what’s the worst date they’ve ever had.

So to keep your mind off this “challenge” (trust me, it’s not hard lol), feel free to post about who YOUR ideal date is and what’s the worst date you’ve gone on.

Let me start things off for you.

My Ideal Person to Date

Okay, an ideal date is hard to say, as I’m the kind of girl who just goes with the flow, and if things are really working out, then I might have potential with a guy. I never see a guy just walking down the street and point out that he’s my type. It doesn’t seem to work that way for me.

Then again, if I REALLY had to choose a guy, I’ll admit that I have a HUGE crush on Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Ever since the movie 500 Days of Summer came out, I’ve become a big fan of him. Please…I hope this dating blog gets big enough that he’ll see this post, ask me out on a date, and…

…okay, I’ll stop there. That’s basically the opposite of the kind of dater I want you all to be. Don’t be desperate lol.

The Worst Date I’ve Been On

Now about the worst date I’ve been on…surprisingly, it was with one of the hottest guys I’ve ever dated. So that comes to show that looks aren’t everything

I actually met this guy at a bar a few months after I graduated from college. My co-workers from my new job were with me at a happy hour, and as I was coming out of the bathroom, I accidentally bumped into this one guy who was your typical “alpha male” (I hate saying it…but that’s like basically the best way to describe how he looks and acts).

He apologized and even offerred to buy me a drink. We drank and chatted for a bit at the other end of the bar from where my co-workers were. Things seemed pretty solid, but I told him I had to get back to my co-workers before everyone had to leave, so I gave him my number and he said he’d take me out for drinks next week. We actually talked on AIM (haha…no one uses that anymore) a bit on the days leading up to our night out.

A week goes by, and he picked me up so we could go out that night. The date was going great, until my date received a text while we were just chatting at this nice wine bar. He looked really nervous and started sweating out of nowhere. It’s like this guy went from Mr. Confident to Baby Boy Beta in a split second. I asked him if anything was wrong, and he said that things were fine.

On our way out of the bar, as we were walking back to his car, which was parked about 10 minutes away, he was acting REALLY weird and all he wanted to do was speed walk back to his car. Something was up.

Then out of nowhere, I just hear all this screaming and yelling.

You gotta be kidding me…

…this lady throws her damn shoe at him, nearly hitting me in the face. Within seconds, I figured out the whole picture. My “date” was actually married, and he was cheating on his wife with me. So how did she find out where he was and what he was doing?

His wife SNIFFED HIM OUT through his AIM logs. Wow…she must’ve been onto something this whole time and had her sights on his head. Unfortunately, I might get some stray bullets coming my way.

She was yelling out everything. How she found out. That she knew he was two-timing her for a while. This sure was some messed up situation, and I was scared for my life. She seemed ready to explode, so all I could think of was run back towards the bar and get help.

And that I did. Right away, I called my roommate who came to pick me up. I didn’t even say goodbye to my date as I was soooo scared. That pig…

…honestly, I didn’t go out on a date with anyone for a few months after that disaster. It was just too much for me lol.

So what’s your disaster date story? Can anyone top mine?

Let me ask you this…did you actually try out eHarmony Login Challenge 1? I wouldn’t be surprised if none of you did. C’mon now

I’m telling ya. Finding success in online dating is much easier than you think. Rather than trying to approach someone in person or hoping that one day the man or woman of your life will randomly ask you out at Starbucks, take action! It’s really simple if you just pick the first man or woman you find attractive in your matches and message them! I’m tellin ya. It’s not hard at all.

People generally will either reject you or just completely ignore you. Plus, handling rejection online is nothing like rejection in front of someone. So keep that in mind. You have NOTHING to lose. As I said here before, putting yourself out there in the online dating sphere is a LOW risk, HIGH reward situation. The only time you’ll see such a situation as high risk is if you BELIEVE it’s high risk.

Believing that you’re not worthy of certain people to date due to certain standards – looks, money, height, etc. – is a self–fulfilling prophecy right there.

So if you believe something is so, it’ll be like that or it will happen as you believe. Learn to bend your own reality. Take a cue from The Matrix:

There is no spoon.

Okay for this first challenge, let’s keep things simple. You gotta learn how to crawl before you can walk, right? Now I’m assuming you already have your own eHarmony login and have your profile all set up.

eHarmony makes things simple for you as it matches you with people every day who may seem like a good match for you. For the next week, from this Saturday the 3rd to next Friday the 9th, all I want you to do is message 1 NEW PERSON each day. It’s easy.

That’s only 7 people you need to message in 7 days.

What do you have to lose?

You can even make it as simple as messaging one of your matches. However, what if you want to change things up a bit? Make the most of your eHarmony login. Most people out there are simply wasting their money on their memberships. I don’t want you to be one of those people? Why?

Oh eHarmony Login, we’ll be posting some simple challenges for men and women to help them with their dating lives. Of course, we’ll start things off with online challenges to help ease you into things. However, eventually, we would like you to try things such as approaching people you like in person.

For the men out there, here’s a video from Simple Pickup that’ll give you an idea how the whole approaching challenge:

By the way, these guys will be on Nightline on ABC tonight at 11:35pm EST. Definitely check that out along with their YouTube channel.

While these guys do joke around a lot with picking up girls, asking for their numbers, and don’t really take relationships seriously, the underlying lesson they’re teaching with their antics is just to take action.

Don’t let yourselves sit on the sidelines for the rest of your life. If you simply go and approach a girl, it’s basically a low risk/high reward situation. Sure, you’ll probably get rejected a lot, but after a while, you’ll get used to it. Then it’s just a matter of playing the numbers game.

I hope you’ll be trying out these challenges in the upcoming blog posts.

Do Your Friends Know?

At eHarmony Login, we’re wondering what you think – is online dating considered socially acceptable?

Before, online dating was something people would keep on the DL. It was a secret that people didn’t want their friends to know about. The idea of trying to meet people online seemed really embarrassing back then, and can still seem so today. Even though a lot of these closeted online daters would much rather date someone in person, they either lack time to actively date or just feel shy about approaching people in person.

There are also too many of those sketchy stories you’ve read about. You know where some terrible things might’ve happened to these blind daters. Because of these stories, people are afraid of what their peers would think of them for going on one of these sites. Also, daters don’t want to seem desperate to find love. A lot of them try to hide this and make their needs not seem like a big deal.

Well, you know what? No matter who you are, you were hardwired to desire love and companionship. Sure, there are male and female “playas” out there who don’t want to commit to a longterm relationship, but the reality is, deep down inside, they want love. Maybe they were hurt at some point in their past and don’t want to experience that kind of feeling again even if that means denying themselves of companionship.

Now, almost everyone has heard of the big online dating sites like PlentyofFish. Even college students are using it as this girl in a blog post. The writer in that article points out that while free online dating sites are fun try out and test the waters with dating online, there are a lot of flaws with the free sites. That’s why it’s much better to go with a paid site like eHarmony, due to the higher quality of users, security, and much more.

Not So Much a Secret Anymore

Online dating is not really a secret in today’s web-based culture. As you can see in the article above, even college kids are using online dating sites to go on days. However, I must say that college is a great way to meet a lot of people and also date. Let’s be real…everyone’s around the same age, share the same interests, and HORNY.

Many people actually do find true love, their future spouses, in college. So why pass up on that opportunity? And while that doesn’t happen to everyone, why miss out on the experience of meeting people at school and having a good time there? You only get to experience this pretty much once in your life, so make the most of it. If you end up spending a lot of time in college dating people outside of school, you might feel out of touch with everything. Just my 2 cents

Why?

Once you’re out of school and are busy with work, grad school, and other commitments, online dating seems more likely due to convenience, the lack of free time, and the ease of finding new people in your area with the click of a mouse from your own place.

Do You See Yourself Using These Sites?

Would you be more open to people you know regarding having such online dating accounts? After college, a few of my friends actually tried out eHarmony, but they didn’t have success. That’s probably because they just expected love to magically appear in their inbox.

It doesn’t work like that.

People put down online dating because they think it doesn’t work. You gotta put things in action. Most people are too secretive about their memberships and just assume that online dating either works or doesn’t work for you.

If people were more open with their friends about online dating, sharing tips and advice on their style of dating will become more common. It’s like when you’re chatting with your closest girl friends or guy friends about your in-person dating experiences. I learned a lot from friends and family about dating just by chatting things out.

People can definitely get a lot out of the right online dating tips and advice. That’s what our site is there for. We understand that online dating isn’t easy, but with some guidance, you’ll be able to improve your online and offline dating, on top of your overall personal development.

We at eHarmony Login are there for you to provide you with tips to find love online. Of course, this isn’t an overnight kind of thing. It’s part of a process that you need to gradually build up and develop.

Don’t worry, as this is worth all the effort. The only thing holding you back is yourself. With this site, we’re providing you the fuel for your car. Week after week, we’ll be writing about some of the best online dating tips available on the internet. It’s up to you to take that knowledge and simply turn on the ignition.

Once you step out of your comfort zone and try out some of these “challenges” that we plan to put out in the coming weeks, you will definitely be able to find a date. A lot of mistakes and failure will occur in the process, but as long as you learn from each one, you’ll become a better person over time.

I’m really looking forward to all of your progress

Who doesn’t love cats? Okay, maybe there are some of you eHarmony login users who are dog fans. However, if you haven’t check out this video of a supposed eHarmony user, check it out:

Don’t worry. The majority of people on eHarmony are not like this. You’ll be able to tell from their video profile alone if you’ll be dealing with anyone interesting. Don’t let a video like this disuade you from trying out online dating sites. Remember, it’s a numbers game. The majority of dates you’ll find in person and online will not be your cup of tea. That’s just some real talk right there. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t be able to find the love of your life through these dating avenues.

It’s all about taking action and putting yourself out there. The reason why most people don’t see results with online dating is because they just sit on their butts, waiting for prince charming or miss perfect to message them, asking them out on a date.

Nope. It doesn’t work like that.

So make use of your eHarmony login and message someone today!
